Chatbox usage
We have a chatbox for you to interact almost instantly with forum members who are browsing the site at the same time as you are. Once you are on the forum, scroll down and see if there is a conversation going on. If so, you can join in! Click on the "Log in" button on the top right hand corner. Have fun!
But there are many things that can go wrong on the Chatbox. You wouldnt belive me If I told you the medivel and ainchent ephic tales about users going completely beserk and out of control on the chatbox.
Chatbox moderators
we have a chatbox mod team whos job is to eye the chatbox at all times and keep watch over the conversations going on. You are monitered most of the day.
1. Smooth running of the chatbox
You must keep out of silly stuff like send messages in white ink so we have to highlight it to see what you have written.
2. rudeness
Rudeness is not tolerated on this forum. And the chatbox is no different. You will be kicked out if you are mean to other users.
If you are haveing a conversation with someone, It is perfectly allowed for someone to join in even if you don't want them to. If you have something only for another user then use the PM system please.
3. reminder
Moderators of the chatbox have combinations that do different things. Three of them are to ban, unban and kick out users. These will be used as much as the internet itself if we get critical rudeness on the chatbox.
4. Where/when to avoid it
Please try to keep out of the chatbox in school or a public libary. The only place the chatbox is safe to be used is at home, where the only eye moderateing you is yourself. Also, if an argument is going out of control on the chatbox, its best not to join - you could be blamed for it afterwards.
5. So. What DO we want?
A fun and happy place Thats all. If you find it hard to create such an environment, please keep away from the chatbox, and to be precise, the forum itself.
The chatbox is like Messenger. The messages posted can be entirely different to ships or anything. Only rude things do we not tolerate.
So have fun and keep us safe
